| This gun is listed for sale on a website. I have never seen a small screw installed, next to the hinge pin screw before. There's one on both sides of the receiver. Any idea why? or for what purpose? Attached Image (viewed 321 times):

| I have not seen a screw in that area before, but the Moran & Wolfersperger after-market automatic ejectors had a pin in that area.

| It looks like it might have a Moneymaker rib too. Maybe this gun is an exercise in use of aftermarket features on a Parker. I wonder what else it has? Dave, where is this gun listed, assuming you're not interested in purchasing it.

| I have seen another Parker with the screw beside the hinge pin on both sides. That gun was a BH. The gun had after market ejectors (not Parker) added then removed. I believe the screws had something to do with the ejectors which probably didn't work out very well.

When I saw this thread I thought Dave was asking another kind of question.....

| Oh! Bugger. Screws that is. They have Destry breaking wind in sealskins on another BBS. That is a fancy gun to start having doubts about its originality.

| It appears to be an upgraded V grade. Too rich for my blood.

Doubts? You can see the previous V grade engraving border still there, not to mention the screws that once anchored ejector actuator rods.
Too bad the person who did this to this Parker felt there was something wrong with either nice V grades or extractors. Or quail as they actually look for that matter.
